The KR-040 Dominator is currently an aircraft under development by Ekolot. Detailed information regarding availability, ordering options and subsequent stages will be provided as work, testing and production preparation progress.
Yes. Our structures undergo a full certification process and are approved for regular operation.
No. Earlier models, such as the KR-030 Topaz, KR-010 Elf and JK-05L Junior, are currently showcased as part of the company’s historical portfolio. They demonstrate Ekolot’s experience, expertise and development, but do not form part of its current product range. The main aircraft currently under development is the KR-040 Dominator.

The Dominator is powered by a modern Rotax engine, which is selected according to the chosen configuration of the machine.
We provide service bulletins, documentation, spare parts and direct contact with the manufacturer throughout the entire service life of the equipment.
The required licences depend on the country in which the aircraft is registered and on local aviation regulations. The pilot must hold the appropriate licences to operate that category of aircraft. Before purchasing, it is advisable to confirm the specific requirements with the relevant aviation authority or the organisation responsible for regulating general aviation in the country concerned.
The registration procedure depends on the country in which the aircraft is to be operated. Ekolot will provide the technical documentation required for the registration process in accordance with the aircraft’s stage of development and certification.
The ability to conduct flights depends on the regulations of a given country, the pilot's qualifications, the rules for using airspace, and the availability of airports and landing sites. Aircraft of this class are usually used in recreational, touristic, training, and private flights, in accordance with applicable regulations.
Some of the technical specifications may still be subject to change as the project progresses through further stages of testing, development and design refinement. The data presented on this page should be regarded as information relating to the current stage of the project, which may be refined following the completion of further work and testing.
The details of technical support will be set out in the aircraft documentation, the maintenance programme and the rules applicable to the relevant market. Ekolot is committed to providing technical support to operators and making the relevant information, documents and parts available in accordance with the aircraft’s implementation phase.
Such support is envisaged. The scope of availability of spare parts, documentation and technical support will be determined as the aircraft is prepared for production and operation.
Some of the materials presented on the website are illustrative visualisations and show the final character of the aircraft. The visualisations help to present the shape, proportions, dynamics and direction of the project's development. Photographs and real materials will be added as work on the aircraft progresses.

The fuselages and wings of our aircraft are constructed from advanced composite materials – primarily using carbon, glass and Kevlar fibres, as well as high-quality epoxy resins. This technology ensures exceptional strength, structural rigidity, a smooth aerodynamic surface and a low empty weight.
We offer a high degree of flexibility and tailor the instrument panel to the pilot’s needs. We can install both classic analogue instruments (so-called „dials”) and modern ‘Glass Cockpit’ systems from leading manufacturers (e.g. Garmin, Dynon, Kanardia), which integrate flight indicators, navigation and engine performance data on liquid crystal displays.
The basis of safety is our highly robust, monocoque cabin structure. Furthermore, our aircraft are designed to accommodate emergency parachute systems (BRS/GRS). In the event of a critical emergency, this system enables the entire aircraft, together with the crew, to be brought safely to the ground.
Definitely yes. The main landing gear legs in our machines, made of specially profiled composite, are characterised by high elasticity and excellent vibration damping. Thanks to this, Ekolot aircraft handle operations on grass and uneven runways very well, maintaining a long service life.
The use of laminates makes the structure completely resistant to corrosion, giving it a huge advantage over traditional metal aircraft. Maintenance mainly involves looking after the external paint finish protecting against UV radiation, properly hangar-keeping the machine, and adhering to regular inspections described in our manuals and service bulletins.
